This Cookie Policy explains how First Dog uses cookies and similar technologies.
Our launch setup
At launch, First Dog does not intentionally use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, behavioural profiling cookies or an email-marketing tracking system.
We have deliberately kept the site simple so that non-essential tracking can be added later only if there is a clear reason to use it.
Strictly necessary cookies
WordPress, hosting or security systems may use cookies or similar storage where this is necessary to operate, secure or administer the website. For example, WordPress uses cookies for logged-in administration and may use temporary or security-related storage in limited circumstances.
These technologies are not used by First Dog to build advertising profiles or measure visitors for marketing purposes.
Why there is no consent banner at launch
We are not intentionally placing non-essential analytics or advertising cookies on visitors at launch. Where a storage or access technology is strictly necessary to provide or secure the service, UK cookie rules provide an exception from the normal consent requirement.
Future analytics or advertising
If First Dog later introduces analytics, advertising, embedded third-party services or other technologies that materially change the cookies or similar storage used on the site, we will review this policy and the Privacy Policy before enabling them. Where consent is required, an appropriate consent mechanism will be introduced.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can use your browser settings to view, delete or block cookies. Blocking cookies that are necessary for a website feature may prevent that feature from working correctly.
